Adult Support Specialist Advocate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional who shares our vision in helping individuals with special needs achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to differentiate instruction based on individual needs and tier levels.
Key qualifications include:
- Diploma or degree in any field related to special education, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or allied health support;
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or developmental needs in adult day programs, special education, or sheltered workshops;
- Familiarity with structured teaching methods, visual supports, and person-centered planning;
- Ability to facilitate ADLs, vocational tasks, or community-based instruction;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with therapists, caregivers, and community partners.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized support plans, providing direct support services to individuals with special needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
