Job Overview

The Senior Building Operations Specialist will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Building-related facilities maintenance and operations to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable building performance.

This role involves leading a team of technical staff, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, plan, and supervise all building maintenance and M&E services, including preventive and corrective works.
  2. Manage and guide a team of technical officers and technicians to deliver effective facilities management services.
  3. Investigate and resolve M&E faults by identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.
  4. Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure optimal performance of all building systems.
  5. Oversee installation, inspection, and upgrading of M&E systems to ensure efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
  6. Conduct regular inspections, recommend improvements, and ensure strict compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  7. Manage contractors, vendors, and project teams to resolve technical issues and deliver quality service.
  8. Attend meetings, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in building services or facilities management, with proven leadership in managing M&E operations.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
