At Greif, we are committed to creating a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and the community. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Health Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and administer certification applications, permits renewals, and track certification status and progress.
  • Coordinate with certification bodies to schedule audits and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Ensure local licenses and certifications remain valid with local authorities and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Monitor industrial hygiene programs, conduct hazard analysis, and evaluate hazard control methods.
  • Compile and maintain documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Conduct monthly SHE meetings, audits, and inspections with EHS committee members to ensure compliance and identify corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance on health, safety, and security matters to employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring site compliance with Corporate Safety Rules and industry guidelines.
  • Promote safety and health through in-house campaigns and advise on engineering and maintenance practices to drive improvement of safe systems of working.
  • Drive EHS activities, ensuring compliance with Corporate EHS requirements and promoting a positive SHE culture through Gemba safety talks and training.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal customers to resolve safety, environmental, and health issues.

Echcoing Leading the way to Sustainability and To Protect our Future:

  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory trends and updates.
  • Monitor, track, and submit annual reports for mandatory packaging reporting under the Waste & Resource Management System by NEA.
  • Provide administrative support and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance environmental and technological performance, aiming to reduce waste, energy usage, and carbon emissions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience in process safety and hazard management, with a background in process design, technical support, or operations in the manufacturing or Pharmaceutical/Petrochemical industry.
  • Internal auditor or ISO auditor qualification of relevant standards (ISO 14001; ISO 45001).
  • SCDF as Fire Safety Manager.
  • Registered with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (a plus).
  • Fluency in Chinese, both verbal and written (a plus).
