Perform the duties of a WSH Officer as stipulated in the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH Officer) Regulations, and comply with the WSH Act, regulations, and Code of Practices.

The duties of an SGSecure Representative, Risk Management Champion, Work-At-Height Assessor/Manager, Safe Management Officer, and other WSQ competency appointment as may be deemed necessary in the job function.

Responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring & reviewing Agilent’s EHS Management System to ensure EHS system performance, and legal and regulatory compliance.

Responsible for ensuring EHS policies, objectives, and targets are set to enforce Agilent policy, disseminated to promote staff awareness, and results are monitored periodically.

Identify training needs, develop, and deliver ESH training to strengthen employees’ awareness of EHS on a regular basis.

Ability to work with all levels of people and with distinct stakeholders and multiple business units.

Provide EHS support to Singapore sites and (Asia Pacific countries when necessary)

Coordinate external audits and maintain EHS documents for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 Certification

Conduct internal audits, gap analysis, and root cause identification and recommend corrective actions to ensure continuity & effectiveness of Agilent EHS Management System in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001, ISO13485,OSHA, and Agilent safety standards.

Assume the role of Document Controller for EHS documentation to ensure the EHS Management System is always updated.

Ensure all EHS incidents and/or accidents are thoroughly investigated and effectively closed. Collate and analyze incident/accident statistics, prepare reports, make recommendations, and implement control measures and/or procedural changes to eliminate/reduce the risk of future occurrences.

Conduct EHS induction for new employees, contractors, contract workers, temp employees, and/or visitors as and when necessary.

Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to discus EHS-related issues, updates and initiatives.

Manage and/or provide guidance to contractors/sub-contractors in engaging their services and ensure safety rules are enforced during their course of work within Agilent's premises.

Liaise, coordinate & handles all EHS-related matters with the relevant authorities such as MOM, NEA, HSA, SCDF, and SPF.

Keep abreast with local EHS-related legislations and WSH developments. Share and disseminate relevant information effectively to enable continual improvement.

Provides technical expertise in the following specialties: Ecological Protection, Industrial Hygiene, or Safety Engineering.

Establishes criteria for the development of environmental programs, risk assessment, and employee health and safety.

Creates program business plans and service delivery strategies.

Establishes and manages the relationships and performance of vendors.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Management, Occupational Health, and Safety or equivalent Specialist Diploma in WSH or equivalent

MOM’s registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

Minimum 10yrs working experience relevant to the work to be carried out by a WSHO and Fire Safety Manager (FSM), Water Efficiency Manager (WEM), Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM), with good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental Law & Regulations of Singapore

Minimum 5 years of working experience in a Chemical and/or Manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
