Position Overview

We are in search of a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a solid understanding of financial markets, proven client interaction experience, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

The ideal candidate will adopt a consultative approach to effectively connect with clients in these sectors.

This role is integral to our Client Solutions division, reporting directly to the Head of APAC Client Solutions. It plays a crucial role in executing Preqin's client-centric and data-driven strategies. This is a remarkable opportunity to advance your career in a client-facing capacity within a rapidly expanding industry.

The Client Solutions Team operates within our global Sales division and serves as a primary contact point for our clients, addressing any inquiries related to the Preqin platform or the broader organization. Our global team, situated in various offices, provides comprehensive support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently address incoming client inquiries, often collaborating with internal departments such as Research, Sales, Product, and Engineering.
  • Respond to client questions in real-time through chat or phone communications.
  • Assess client requirements for utilizing Preqin and offer solutions and guidance in retrieving pertinent information and data from the platform.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve client familiarity with the Preqin platform as necessary.
  • Deliver proactive and consultative assistance to both internal stakeholders and clients, contributing to client retention and revenue growth.
  • Work alongside Research, Sales, and Product teams to implement client feedback aimed at enhancing overall customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication abilities, comfortable with both outbound and inbound calls, skilled at building rapport with financial professionals, and adept at clarifying complex topics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive mindset for addressing issues and intricate requests.
  • Organizational skills to manage priorities and expectations for incoming requests and projects, with diligence in documenting activities in the CRM system.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functionalities such as vlookups, pivot tables, and data presentation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in client support.
  • A collaborative team player with the enthusiasm to work independently, balancing urgent tasks with longer-term initiatives.
  • Previous experience in customer support or client relations, particularly in roles involving interaction with key decision-makers in financial institutions.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous.
