This exciting opportunity involves handling various types of P&I claims, including personal injury matters, cargo claims, property damage claims, collisions, and pollution claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify that risks/claims are covered under the Members entry with the Club
  • Settle third-party P&I claims at the most economic figure possible, in accordance with the Rules and the Member's Terms of Entry
  • Appoint lawyers, surveyors, and consultants to receive and critically evaluate advice received, and act thereon
  • Notify Reinsurance and make recoveries from both the pool and the excess reinsurers, or other contractual parties where appropriate
  • Report internally and prepare agendas and reports
