About the Department
The Retail division is dedicated to delivering tailored financial solutions to both Personal and Business Banking customers. Our mission is to empower clients to manage their finances effectively and achieve their financial aspirations through a comprehensive array of products and services, including deposits, insurance, loans, and investment advisory services.
Personal Financial Services
We focus on creating and offering products that enhance banking convenience and maximize the value clients derive from their finances. Our emphasis is on fostering healthy saving and investment habits across generations.
Key Responsibilities
In your role within the Client Acquisition Team, you will be responsible for attracting high-net-worth clients to UOB's Privilege Banking and Privilege Reserve services. Collaborating closely with Privilege Banking Client Advisors and Senior Client Advisors, you will ensure a comprehensive Total Wealth Management experience for both new and existing affluent clients.
- Acquire high-net-worth clients with Assets Under Management of $350,000 and above through various channels, including tele-prospecting, networking, and exclusive events.
- Facilitate account openings and promote a range of exclusive deposit products and services.
- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures for new clients to mitigate risks associated with money laundering.
- Engage with Banca First Touch for all new clients, introducing concepts of legacy planning.
- Ensure timely processing of account openings and related inquiries.
- Adhere to compliance and legal guidelines, following internal policies and external regulations.
- Deliver exceptional service and enhance portfolio coverage through advisory on wealth and deposit products.
- Provide financial advisory services and tailored investment solutions to affluent and high-net-worth clients.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of UOB's product offerings to effectively communicate with clients.
- Assess clients' financial goals and risk tolerance in a regulated environment.
- Offer timely information, advice, and recommendations aligned with client needs.
Job Requirements
- A recognized university degree.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial sector, particularly in financial and investment product sales.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management and investment products.
- Self-motivated with a robust sales drive and enthusiasm.
- Proven track record of excellence in performance.
- Relevant professional accreditation is preferred.
- Experience in engaging with clients from diverse markets.
