About the Retail Department
The Retail division is dedicated to providing tailored financial solutions for both Personal and Business Banking clients. Our mission is to assist customers in managing their finances effectively and achieving their financial aspirations through a comprehensive array of products and services, including deposits, insurance, loans, investments, and wealth advisory services.
Personal Financial Services Overview
We create and deliver products and services designed to enhance banking convenience for our customers, enabling them to maximize the value of their finances. Our focus is on fostering healthy saving and investment habits across generations.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Client Acquisition Team, your primary role will be to attract high-net-worth clients for UOB Privilege Banking and Privilege Reserve . You will collaborate closely with Privilege Banking Client Advisors (CAs) and Privilege Reserve Senior Client Advisors (SCAs) to provide a comprehensive Total Wealth Management experience for both new and existing affluent clients.
- Drive the acquisition of high-net-worth clients with Assets Under Management of $350,000 and above through tele-prospecting, networking, and exclusive events.
- Facilitate account openings and promote a range of exclusive deposit products and services.
- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) processes for new clients to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
- Engage with Banca First Touch (BFT) for all new clients as part of a holistic onboarding journey, introducing concepts of legacy planning.
- Ensure timely and efficient processing of account openings and related matters.
- Adhere to compliance and legal guidelines in accordance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Deliver exceptional service and enhance portfolio coverage through advisory on wealth and deposit products.
- Provide financial advisory services and tailored investment solutions to affluent and high-net-worth clients.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of UOB's product offerings and effectively communicate this information to clients.
- Assess clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance in a regulated environment.
- Offer timely information, advice, and recommendations that align with clients' needs.
Job Requirements
- A recognized university degree.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial sector, particularly in financial and investment product sales.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management and investment products.
- Self-motivated with a robust sales drive and enthusiasm.
- Proven track record of excellence in performance.
- Relevant professional accreditation (M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A HI).
- Experience and ability to engage with clients from diverse markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and China.
