Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnership role is a high-impact position that involves driving engagement and retention with existing merchants, negotiating promotions, marketing exposure, and supply strength to help surpass goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent sales planning and execution skills, as well as strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining regular communication with merchants, conducting business reviews, identifying opportunities, and updating merchants on a routine basis. They will also build trust and relationships with partners to enhance their sales potential across the company's platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales Planning and Execution: Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches to drive engagement and retention.
  • Merchant Communication and Strategy: Maintain regular communication with merchants, conduct business reviews, identify opportunities, and update merchants on a routine basis.
  • Partner Engagement and Relationship Management: Build trust and relationships with partners to enhance their sales potential.
  • Key Account Management: Apply key account management principles to nurture and expand relationships with priority merchants.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to quarterly strategic planning and improvement initiatives aimed at achieving supply strength metrics goals.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with various internal functions to maximize sales, ensure alignment, and enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years work experience in Key Account Management/Business Development/Sales Portfolio management.
  • Experience in key account management or OTA supply is preferable. High familiarity with travel-related products; attractions, activities, tours, and transportation preferred.
  • Advanced Sales Techniques: Mastery in complex negotiations, strategic partnerships, consultative selling, and high-level relationship management.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic, high-level relationships with key/large merchants and partners.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, competitor actions, and account management metrics to drive data-driven decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Problem-Solving Expertise: Ability to tackle complex challenges and address sophisticated merchant needs at a senior level.
  • Commercial mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit to grow business and adapt to real-world trends.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of key business principles, metrics, and industry landscapes, with knowledge of the company's products/services and strategic vision.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to lead and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
