About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Human Resources Director to join our team in Asia Pacific. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership to all business units in the delivery of HR services to internal client groups to drive outstanding business performance.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the distribution/logistics industry across Asia-Pacific/Japan. They will possess excellent consultation skills, including the ability to work with several layers of management to discern challenges and opportunities and arrive at effective, responsive solutions.

Key responsibilities include developing and managing a team of senior HR business partners, building credible relationships with key management, business stakeholders and peers globally, and partnering with HR COEs to deliver effective human resources initiatives and achieve organizational goals and objectives.

  • Maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Possess strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion
  • Demonstrate strong managerial courage, have the ability to balance the needs of the business with the needs of colleagues, and be willing to voice unpopular opinions, even if those opinions are at times met with resistance

Salary:$140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
