Job Summary

As the Director, HR Consulting - Asia Pacific at Hilton International Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Commercial Services & Technology teams in APAC. Reporting to the Senior Director, HR, you will work closely with regional HR and HR COEs to activate, promote, and deliver the HR strategy, including business plan, objectives and deliverables, change management, and communication implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Directing Activities
  1. Deliver generalist HR advice and support in performance and talent management, recruitment, retention, reward, and employment legislation.
  2. Manage employee relations queries, raising concerns to the next level, and providing accurate and commercial ER guidance.
  3. Support line managers on organizational change, restructuring, redundancies, and transfers.
  4. Coach managers in applying HR policies and practices, minimizing risk and financial exposure.
  5. Support the L&D team to deliver corporate programs, ensuring offerings are accessible and awareness of training is created.
  6. Partner with the resourcing team on resourcing within corporate offices, supporting managers on candidate applications, interviews, testing, and selection.
  7. Utilize the Hilton performance management process, taking action where necessary with performance development and career development plans.
Planning Activities
  1. Support the Senior Director, HR, in delivering the HR strategy, including business plan, objectives, and deliverables, change management, and communication implementation.
  2. Identify and develop talent and capability for each function to meet current and future needs.
  3. Enhance the perceived value of HR to stakeholders.
  4. Undertake HR projects as identified by Senior Director, HR.
  5. Partner with line managers on Global Team Member Survey results, holding regular reviews to assess progress and support actions to improve employee engagement.
  6. Manage the HR Annual Cycle for functions in the region.
Organizing Activities
  1. Provide people management metrics, managing distribution, and dealing with recipient queries.
  2. Coach line managers on metrics, seeking resolution on issues.
  3. Manage and coordinate information for Talent Reviews.
  4. Create and develop visual presentations as required.
  5. Provide cover for the Senior Director, HR, in periods of absence.
  6. Support departmental communication.
  7. Work independently and with the HR team.
Controlling Activities
  1. Process relevant information through systems, including TMX, and the monthly roster.
  2. Support headcount roster management for Commercial Services in APAC, liaising with Finance and Commercial Services.
  3. Ensure compliance training is completed within Commercial Services.
  4. Look for opportunities to reduce operating costs and improve service delivery.
  5. Maintain self-generated department correspondence and personnel files.
  6. Regularly review and recommend processes in line with business needs and best practices.
