Academic Recruitment Manager

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Assistant Manager, Faculty Recruitment. This 3-year contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in shaping the future of our institution.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be part of the HR team supporting the recruitment of faculty members across various colleges. As Assistant Manager, Faculty Recruitment, you will play a vital role in coordinating with School HR Business Partners, Deans, Chairs, and School Search Committees to manage all aspects of faculty recruitment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with shortlisted candidates to collect CVs and dossiers;
- Requesting and managing references for shortlisted candidates;
- Maintaining comprehensive records of SSC evaluations for each applicant;
- Arranging campus visits and interviews for top candidates;
- Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of search reports submitted by SSCs, confirming they meet policy standards;
- Compiling all documentation required for submission with the search report.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A degree with at least 2-4 years of experience in human resources or general administration roles;
- Highly attentive to details, possess the ability to multi-task, and manage deliverables under tight timelines;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and report writing;
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving HR needs;
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on teamwork and a service-oriented approach.
