Field Application Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical sales and applications engineering, with a strong background in industrial automation and networking.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales team to support the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations and presentations.
- Provide technical advice on system architecture and configuration for Industrial Data Solutions (IDS) portfolio.
- Offer technical assistance and guidance on usage for IDS products, addressing basic queries and issues before they escalate to the support ticket system.
- Conduct training sessions for distributors, partners, and end users on IDS products, covering both technical and applications aspects.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to the product team to support continuous improvement and product roadmap.
- Bridge between the product team and SEA distributors, ensuring that partners are continuously updated with the latest product knowledge and developments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities and support market development activities for IDS products.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a Technical Sales and Applications Engineering role, preferably within the industrial automation or industrial networking sectors.
- Prior experience with control products in process industries such as O&G, Power, Renewable Energies, etc. is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols, PLCs, HMIs, or Industrial Ethernet switches is an advantage.
