We are looking for a talented Food Safety Executive to lead our efforts in ensuring the highest standards of quality in food products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous quality checks and controls to guarantee compliance with health standards.
You will test food samples in Chemistry and Microbiology labs and work closely with suppliers to enhance product quality and safety. Conducting sampling and food audits/inspections at suppliers' sites according to company guidelines/checklists is also a critical aspect of this role. Furthermore, you will prepare reports and follow up on action plans from audits or inspections.
To excel in this position, you should have a bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology or Food Nutrition. A solid understanding of food/laboratory testing, including Chemistry and Microbiology, is vital. Knowledge of Halal, Kosher, HACCP, FSSC, ISO procedures will be beneficial. We prefer candidates with 1-2 years of work experience in relevant fields. Excellent communication skills are necessary for collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and potentially clients. Fluency in Chinese will be an added value.
This is a one-year contract position with a possibility of renewal. The working hours are from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
