About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Guest Service Executive to join our team at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable stay with us.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm welcomes and farewells to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of payments.
  • Assist guests with luggage, room keys, and other requests as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of messages, mail, packages, and parcels for delivery to guests.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions securely and accurately, maintaining a positive cash float at all times.
  • Ensure that guest folios and charges are processed correctly and maintained up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the Concierge team to provide excellent guest experiences, including arranging transportation and providing tourist information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager, such as assisting with special events and projects.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of GCE 'O' levels or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Good knowledge of resort operations and tourism industry practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management systems (HMS) would be an asset.
