Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join our DevOps team in supporting the Loan Syndication platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing L1 and L2 support for the Asian Region and the World.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the origination process for syndicated loans, including assessing the feasibility and viability of targeted transactions, formulating term sheets, syndication timelines, and ensuring comprehensive documentation.
- Good working knowledge of LoanIQ
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to support deal origination and strengthen the banks syndication capabilities.
- Strategically distribute syndicated loans to the market by accurately assessing distribution channels and targeting the right investors for successful sell-downs.
- Manage user requests & incidents in a timely manner
- Prioritize User requests based on their urgency, their criticality and their context. Ensure all incidents investigation and follow-up in case of third-party / vendor involvement, communication and pushes for resolution including workaround identification
- Ensure adequate and efficient communications toward users, senior management and other IT stakeholders during incident management process (major or minor).
- Contribute to change requests, urgent data modifications and INTPRODs executions
- Escalate issues if need be, but remains the main point of contact for the user
- Pushes for sustainable resolutions and sustain knowledge management
- In case of Incident, ensures root cause is properly identified and remediation actions defined and prioritized (Problem Management)
- Contribute to major incident reports and post-mortems when required
- In case of recurrent Request/incidents, pushes for the creation of a Feature Development/bugfix, or automation
- Keep the support documentation up-to-date
- Act as the IT Run preferred communication channel with all stakeholders
- Contribute to Major events (BCP, Disaster recovery, Production interventions, etc.) synchronizing with other Support engineers, Users, stakeholders.
- May extend his activities to complementary tasks like Testing or BA if part of the squad.
- Must have skills as Good communicator, who can translate technical issues in Simple language which is understandable and relatable with Business and Operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant IT experience (Production support, ITIL, Release Support, Technical implementations or equivalent)
- Proven knowledge in all of the following: Java/J2EE - Core Java, JDBC, EJB, Java Web services
- Experience in server side technologies : XML/XSLT, XML, JDBC, AOP, MQ Microservices
- Good knowledge in middleware components such as Message Broker, IBM WebSphere MQ, JBOSS application server
- Strong operating system knowledge in Unix and Windows including strong scripting skills
- Must have experience with oracle, DB2 and PL/SQL query performance tuning
- Knowledge of event driven and schedule driven batch process (control-M,Autosys, Geneos, Splunk)
- Experience of handling various production support roles (L1/L2/L3) and hands-on experience in using at least 3 widely used monitoring tools Solution oriented, business focused with a mindset to constantly improve production quality and stability.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to multi task and manage stress while maintaining empathy for end users.
- Exposure to Monitoring tools & Automation.
- Good communicator and have managed Operations & Business.
- Problem-Solving mindset with orientation towards Continues Improvement.
