Job Description

As a Strategic Partnership Director, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive business research to assess partner potential and providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis, competitor analysis, and industry focus.
  • Developing and implementing strategic business plans with partners, outlining growth objectives, target accounts, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Overseeing the onboarding process for new partners, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with company goals.
  • Managing day-to-day interactions with partners, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and fostering strong relationships.
  • Organizing and leading quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with partners and Singtel management to track progress, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.

You will also be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify target segments and accounts for partner collaboration, facilitating account mapping sessions between Singtel Customer Success Units (CSUs) and partners, and planning and executing go-to-market (GTM) events in partnership with CSUs.

In addition, you will coordinate and deliver pre-sales and post-sales training programs for partners, equip them with the knowledge and skills to effectively position and deliver our solutions, and identify and secure funding for training initiatives, leveraging both internal and partner resources.

Your expertise will also be essential in driving commercial activities to secure rebates and incentives from partners, collaborating with solution sales teams to maximize sales opportunities and achieve rebate targets, and managing the procurement and payment process for rebates and incentives, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with legal teams to review and negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk mitigation strategies, and obtain necessary internal approvals for partnership agreements and programs, addressing any concerns or risks identified by stakeholders.

As a leader, you will also be responsible for mentoring a team of partner managers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement, and effectively managing virtual teams, leveraging technology and communication tools to ensure seamless collaboration and productivity.

Requirements

To succeed as a Strategic Partnership Director, you should possess:

  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in partner relationship management, preferably in the technology industry, such as system integration companies and Fortune technology companies.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial analysis, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Experience in managing virtual teams, with a proven ability to foster collaboration and productivity in a remote work environment.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated attributes, with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence.
  • Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), Engineering, or IT.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
