Job Title: Coastal Structure Designer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coastal Structure Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing coastal structures such as quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments, and land reclamation projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on coastal structures and geotechnical design. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Design and analysis of coastal structures: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing coastal structures such as quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments, and land reclamation projects.
  • Geotechnical design and analysis: The candidate will also be responsible for conducting geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures, including deep and shallow foundation, temporary and permanent retaining systems, soil improvement, instrumentation, etc.
  • Site investigation and result interpretation: The candidate will plan and conduct site investigations and interpret results to inform design decisions.
  • Contract administration: The candidate will assist in managing subcontracts, including soil investigation contracts, accredited checker contracts, biodiversity contracts, etc.
  • Supervision of design and site work: The candidate will supervise both design and site work to ensure that all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
