About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef and Menu Developer to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new menu ideas, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new menu ideas that meet customer expectations and preferences
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and plating to ensure exceptional quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Lead and train kitchen staff to achieve high standards of quality and service
- Liaise with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory effectively
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform menu development and improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain high standards of quality
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
- Proven track record of menu development and implementation, with a focus on creative and innovative dishes
- Excellent leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
