Roles & Responsibilities
  • Prepare a wide range of authentic Indian dishes South & North Indian cuisine menus, incorporating traditional dishes (including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options )
  • Specialize in curry preparation and tandoor cooking techniques
  • Specialize in veg and non-vegetarian Biryani
  • Create and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
  • Control food and labor costs through efficient portioning, inventory management, and waste reduction strategies while maintaining food quality.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold the restaurant's standards and exceed guest expectations.
  • Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 yrs of Proven experience as a chef specializing in South & North Indian cuisine, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Preferrable masters graduate
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
  • Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
