  • We are seeking an experienced Indian menu chef to lead our kitchen operations.

 

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to join our culinary team. As an Indian menu chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that showcase the authentic flavors of South and North Indian cuisine.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, incorporating traditional recipes and techniques.
  • Specialize in curry preparation and tandoor cooking techniques, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Create and update menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and culinary trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold the restaurant's standards and exceed guest expectations.
  • Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training, to ensure seamless service delivery.

 

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a chef specializing in South and North Indian cuisine.
  • Preferrable master's degree in hospitality or culinary arts.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and train staff effectively.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure while maintaining composure.
  • Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems to streamline operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
