Operations Technician

We are seeking an Operations Technician to join our team. As an Operations Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on packaging and conveying equipment, electrical systems, and other assets to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out corrective repair works on equipment to restore functionality and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system faults on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Promptly attend to breakdowns and recover operational equipment to minimize disruption to production.
  • Analyze and reduce equipment downtime through predictive maintenance strategies and techniques.
  • Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) effectively to analyze parts failures and optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Plan and coordinate shutdown maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure effective execution of maintenance tasks and projects.
  • Liaise with vendors on fabrication works to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and materials.
  • Determine critical spares inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize downtime.
  • Lead and report on commissioning of new equipment to ensure seamless integration into existing operations.
  • Document works carried out on equipment via work orders and organize reports for management presentation.
  • Prepare reports for management presentation to communicate key performance indicators and maintenance metrics.
  • Procure parts from service vendors to ensure timely supply and minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality output.
  • Lead the team in Root Cause Analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Possess knowledge in PLC, mechanical, and electrical systems to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
