Job Title: Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that routine maintenance is performed efficiently and effectively.

  • Perform all routine preventative maintenance and curative maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Order and monitor fuels, lubricants, and repair parts to ensure timely delivery and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain clean and tidy plant rooms to promote a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge base to enable effective handling of minor problems across various departmental areas.
  • Attend to all types of repair and maintenance work within the Hotel premises, including new additions or extensions.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining the hotel's preventative maintenance system and repair log system.
  • Participate in instructing colleagues on proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and cleaning practices.
  • Conduct and/or participate in staff meetings to discuss best operating and maintenance practices.
  • Inform superiors of repair status and pending costs, and recommend replacement when necessary.
  • Record daily service work, including replacement costs and labor hours.
  • Repair and maintain guest room facilities, light fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
  • Prioritize work based on guest requests and management directives.

Requirements:

  • NTC or NITEC certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management with relevant experience.
  • Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
  • Experience in painting and maintenance work advantageous.
  • Hotel experience beneficial.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
