About the Role

The company is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of material handling equipment.

  • Conducting regular inspections of packaging/conveying equipment, facilities, and electrical systems.
  • Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on packaging equipment and facilities.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on various equipment.
  • Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensuring quick recovery to operational status.
  • Utilizing Predictive Maintenance to analyze and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Effectively using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to investigate part failures.
  • Organizing and executing planned shutdown maintenance.
  • Leading a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating with vendors for fabrication work.
  • Managing the inventory of critical spare parts for equipment.
  • Overseeing and documenting the commissioning of new equipment.
  • Recording maintenance activities on works orders and providing daily updates to superiors.
  • Generating and preparing reports for management presentations.
  • Procuring parts from service vendors as necessary.
  • Assessing risks and hazards associated with maintenance jobs.
  • Guiding the team in Root Cause Analysis and collaborating with the Operational Team on Failure Analysis.
  • Leading projects aimed at continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and electrical systems.
  • A strong understanding of Predictive Maintenance and CMMS systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license.
