Social Services Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill this critical social services role. In this position, you will provide essential support services to individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Information and Referral services to clients with empathy and professionalism
  • Casework and Counselling for walk-in clients with effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain accurate client records and monitor their progress with attention to detail
  • Activate cases in each quarter and ensure timely closure for inactive cases by prioritizing tasks efficiently
  • Complete case recordings on time by adhering to strict deadlines
  • Respond promptly to clients' concerns and provide relevant intervention by applying critical thinking
  • Collaborate with partners to address community concerns through case conferences and other interventions by fostering strong relationships
  • Attend regular supervision sessions for case direction and skill enhancement by embracing continuous learning
Community Work and Groupwork:
  • Contribute to the Community Work Task Group by offering expertise and insight
  • Assess community needs within the FSC boundary for targeted intervention
  • Plan, organize, execute, and evaluate community work interventions by applying project management skills
  • Develop proposal papers for Groupwork projects by researching and analyzing data
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate groupwork activities by utilizing leadership and facilitation techniques
Requirements:
  • Degree or Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Work (preferably accredited)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social work settings with a proven track record
  • Pleasant disposition, good communication, and interpersonal skills with excellent emotional intelligence
