Visual Effects Specialist

This role requires a skilled and experienced Visual Effects Artist to guide our team in creating high-quality, stylized real-time effects that add atmosphere and depth to our gameplay. As a Senior VFX Artist, you will lead the conception and implementation of the VFX style, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.

The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in 3D/2D software, including Maya, 3DS Max, and Photoshop, with experience in shipping titles as a Senior or Lead VFX Artist. You should also have knowledge of the MOBA genre, ideally League of Legends, and be familiar with hand-painted stylized VFX.

Responsibilities:
  • Guide the creation of high-quality, stylized real-time effects that enhance gameplay experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of VFX into gameplay.
  • Develop and implement new VFX styles that align with game design principles.
  • Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to vendors and team members.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the video games industry as VFX Artist.
  • Advanced skills in 3D/2D software (Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop).
  • Experience creating high-quality, stylized real-time effects.
  • Knowledge of the MOBA genre and League of Legends IP.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Past leadership or management experience.
  • Development experience creating materials and PBR assets within modern game engines (Unreal, Unity).
  • Experience managing distributed teams across time zones and in remote work environments.
