This role is responsible for fostering strong client relationships with respect to market access and data account management for F&O and cash markets platforms, tools, and services. As the primary technology relationship manager for CME Group's customers, the Director works closely with internal cross-functional teams and client contacts on the business, technology, and operations side to successfully integrate client or third-party vendor technology with the CME Group technologies used to facilitate trading and clearing on our platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the technology and data account management relationship with key clients, vendors, and intermediary partners.
- Partner with sales to meet client needs across a variety of business and technology topics.
- Provide market access education for customers and proactively communicate regarding platform updates.
- Represent Global Account Management on cross-functional, strategic projects that may be tied to either corporate priorities, country plans, or departmental objectives of substantial scope and impact.
- Evaluate, enhance, design, and deploy market access capabilities, incentive programs, operational support models, or partnerships necessary for the efficient and effective support of new and evolving business lines.
- Lead GAM functions in the region (Market Access Management, OTC Client Services, Market Data Management, Channel Partner Management, Technical Account Management).
- Responsible for Asia distribution strategy, market access, and client operational engagement across all client segments, business lines, and vendors, listed, cash markets, and OTC.
- Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders to develop commercial models for connectivity and market access to support integration efforts and new business opportunities.
- Lead customer outreach efforts and collate feedback for internal project teams to reinforce and influence CME technology roadmap to best meet the needs of our trading and market data clients in South Asia.
- Advocate internally on behalf of clients to enhance our platform and continually improve the customer experience on our platforms.
- Ensure client readiness for changes in CME Group technologies through regular engagement of business, technical, and operational contacts on the client side.
- Levarage internal business partners, tools, and processes to facilitate client onboarding to the platform.
- Bachelor's degree with MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8 yrs experience in the futures industry.
- Asian language skills a plus.
- Must have a customer service focus and orientation.
- Must have knowledge of electronic trading systems in the futures and options industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal, relationship building, written, and oral communication skills are essential.
- Project Management skills required.
- Knowledgeable about the overall structure and interconnectedness of Futures and Options market and Spot FX market.
- Understand customers' e-trading needs in Japan and other areas of APAC, and manage customer impacting e-trading projects.
- Have knowledge and experience about market data policy and licensing process to help clients have proper market data licenses in place.
- Lead the process of onboarding clients to the CME's various services and licensing agreements for trading and market data.
