Job Description:

The Architectural Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of structural and architectural works. Reporting directly to the Project Manager or Project Engineer, this professional is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of building construction projects.

Key responsibilities include site coordination with various trades, liaison with regulatory bodies for inspection purposes, and preparation of shop drawings, materials, and method statements. Additionally, the Architectural Coordinator is tasked with checking submitted shop drawings from sub-contractors, verifying compliance with contractual obligations and drawings, and liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors as needed.

Other essential duties include procurement and monitoring of architectural-related materials, conducting inspections and trade demonstrations, testing, and mock-ups. The Architectural Coordinator must also ensure compliance with Top Check List and RI (Achi) requirements, attend sub-contractor meetings, and handle contract administration and other operational matters.

This dynamic professional will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning to completion. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive results-oriented outcomes, manage multiple priorities, and maintain effective communication channels throughout the organization.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in the building/construction trade in Singapore, preferably in D&B projects (government/commercial buildings) or HDB BTO projects
  • Preferred candidates are Singaporean nationals
