Operational Flight Manager

The primary function of this role is to oversee the day-to-day activities within a Ground Handling environment. As the key point of contact on the day of operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that all flights are handled safely and efficiently.
You will act as the focal point of contact on the day of operations of a flight, making decisions and providing guidance to Services Delivery Teams. This involves collating operational messages and communicating regularly with respective Service Delivery Teams and Flight In-charge to ensure that all messages are delivered and flight requirements are met.
To achieve these objectives, you will implement day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with established standards and procedures. This includes monitoring the precision time schedule of flight activities and requirements, taking immediate action to rectify irregular operations through the deployment of resources and formulation of recovery plans.
Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external departments to ensure that service standards are met and satisfaction is enhanced. You will also manage CAG Airport Collaborative Decision Making (ACDM) TOBT processes and coordinate with all internal personnel and external emergency responders in the event of an emergency.
