Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centre facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite support for data centre operations and essential facilities.
  • Continuously monitor Building Management System (BMS) to ensure all data centre infrastructure, including systems such as PA, fire safety, plumbing, UPS, power, temperature, humidity, and water sensors, are functioning correctly.
  • Serve as the initial escalation point for all onsite operational incidents.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems as needed.
  • Plan and facilitate all maintenance activities, both preventive and reactive, to minimize service disruptions in the data centre.
  • Handle user requests, incidents, changes, issues, and provisioning using the web-based ticketing system.
  • Ensure the effective execution of data centre safety, security, and customer service policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Keep all data centre documentation up to date and generate reports as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum ITE in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1-year experience in facilities management.
  • Hands-on experience in Mechanical (ACMV) and Electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
  • Experience in critical environments (e.g. Data Centre / Cleanroom / Semi-conductor plant) is an added advantage.
  • Able to perform rotating shifts.
