Technical Support Specialist for Wise API Integrations

At WISE ASIA-PACIFIC PTE. LTD., we are looking for a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in ensuring seamless integration of our APIs with enterprise partners and customers.
About the RoleWe offer an estimated salary of SGD 60,000 - SGD 80,000 per annum, depending on experience, to support individuals who thrive in fast-paced technical environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Job DescriptionAs a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing rapid and dedicated support to Wise API users, from general questions about API behavior to acting as a first-responder for major incidents. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting and solving issues reported by users, collaborating with engineering and commercial teams to resolve complex problems.
- Develop a deep understanding of Wise API products and capabilities, solidifying your knowledge through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Support the team in handling contacts across various channels, primarily email support queues and phone support for critical issues.
- Contribute significantly to issue resolution, both independently and collaboratively, leveraging your skills in testing, debugging, and querying databases.
- Enable the rest of the team to provide global API user support by capturing and sharing knowledge and trends on issues raised by users.
We value individuals with strong organisational and prioritisation skills, ability to focus under pressure, and drive proactive improvements where possible. Experience in coding is beneficial, but not required; familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java is desirable.
Requirements and Qualifications- Minimum +3 years of experience in a technical support engineering role, with common support tooling and terminology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret logs and query databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate high-severity incidents effectively.
- Ability to work well in a diverse, international team, with flexibility to travel internationally (optional).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, product engineering, and incident management is highly valued.
