The Role

As a Technical Support Specialist, you'll be part of a dedicated team that provides fast and reliable support to businesses integrating with the Wise API. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving technical issues, ensuring seamless API integrations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Wise API products and capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve this goal.
  • Provide timely and effective support to businesses across various channels, including email and phone, for critical issues.
  • Contribute significantly to troubleshooting and solving complex technical issues reported by users, both independently and collaboratively with engineering and commercial teams.
  • Enable the rest of the team to support businesses globally by sharing knowledge and trends on common issues and best practices.
Requirements:
  • +3 years of experience in technical support engineering, with familiarity with common support tooling and terminology.
  • Confidence in testing and debugging REST APIs, interpreting logs, and querying databases.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills, with ability to focus on solving challenges while setting expectations with stakeholders.
  • Experience in a reactive support environment, with ability to drive proactive improvements where necessary.
  • Cool under pressure, with incident management experience and ability to handle multiple high-severity incidents simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java, with basic coding knowledge.
  • Comfortable working regular out-of-hours shifts, including weekends, as part of a 24/5 follow-the-sun schedule.
  • Will to travel internationally to work and learn with product engineering, implementation delivery, customer support, and operations teams worldwide.
  • Able to thrive in a diverse, global team with varying time zones.
Compensation:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
