**Solutions Engineering Manager Role at Wise**

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solutions Director to join our team. As a key member of our engineering leadership, you'll be responsible for the overall health, productivity, and quality of your team and their output.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering or a similar technical role, with at least three years of experience. They should also have a proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing technical delivery teams, as well as experience working with external parties to deliver technical projects with REST API integrations.

Our Technical Solutions Director will be responsible for providing feedback on their team's approach, helping them make data-driven decisions, and learning from their experiences and mistakes. They'll also have an overview of what's happening across the organization and think about how this impacts partners, in terms of opportunities and risks, using this to input to the strategy of Wise Platform in APAC and beyond.

This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires someone who is comfortable working on big challenges and has a history of successfully delivering best-in-class solutions and products. The successful candidate will be able to build, lead, and mentor driven and high-performing technical delivery teams, and have experience building and designing scalable and performing systems within a microservice architecture.

In addition to the above requirements, we're looking for someone who is an expert on all things API, such as RESTful design, OpenAPI, OAuth2, versioning, etc. They should also have a strong product mindset and be able to support others to make the right decisions and compromises.
