Job Overview

Our organization's mission is to enable seniors to adopt an active lifestyle, pre-empt social isolation, and refer them to assistance in a timely fashion. Our goal is to improve health outcomes through providing programs that help seniors live healthier lives and support their aspirations to age in place.

We aim to achieve this by serving as a key point of contact for seniors, where we proactively reach out to them, organize social activities, and provide opportunities for interaction with the community.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate services and organize activities for seniors to promote social interaction and engagement.
  • Plan and coordinate programs and activities to cater to the diverse needs and interests of seniors.
  • Manage, supervise, and support volunteers to ensure effective program implementation.
  • Conduct Community Screener and ensure buddying & befriending criteria are met to facilitate meaningful connections among seniors.
  • Conduct outreach efforts to engage seniors and encourage participation in our programs.
  • Assist Programme Executive to prepare monthly reports highlighting program achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the smooth operation of our organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE 'A' Level or Diploma with Social Service qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with seniors, volunteers, and staff members.
  • Passion for working with the elderly and commitment to promoting healthy aging.
Preferred Skills:
  • Registration and certification in relevant fields.
  • Volunteer training and management expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
  • Administrative work experience and skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Recruiting and relationship management skills.
  • Problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
  • Written communications and report-writing skills.
  • Strategy workshops and team collaboration skills.
  • Communication skills and public speaking abilities.
