Subcontract Manager Role

In this dynamic and challenging position, you will oversee the full subcontract lifecycle from bid package creation to vendor relationship management. Your expertise in proposal analysis, negotiation, and administration will drive maximum cost savings and protection for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate supply chain management for key products and services.
  • Assist program teams in making sound business decisions regarding subcontractor and supplier engagements.
  • Negotiate commercial and business terms for various agreements to drive cost savings.
  • Efficiently award subcontracts and administer modifications and updates aligned with evolving program needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments and suppliers to address requirements, specifications, and quality concerns.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Contracts, Procurement, Project Management, or Subcontractor Management desired.
  • Proven expertise in subcontract administration, proposal analysis, negotiation, strategic sourcing, RFP development, and vendor communication.

Benefits:

Cubic offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $110-$145,000 plus benefits. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, and applicable bargaining agreement.
