Job Title: Life Product Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Life Product Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for end-to-end product conceptualization, implementation, and launch for all life products across our direct-to-consumer and financial advisory channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop annual product plans in collaboration with local and group teams
  • Drive a culture of product innovation through regular workshops with partners, customers, internal stakeholders, and reinsurers
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with reinsurers and pricing and underwriting teams
  • Lead treaty sign-offs for internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct initial product feasibility assessments with stakeholders
  • Ensure products are developed in accordance with our product management framework
  • Draft product materials, including contracts and product summaries
  • Work with other teams to deliver policy documents and product specifications
  • Prepare product approval documents for local and group offices
  • Handle queries and coordinate answers for group office queries
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure user requirements are met
  • Provide high-quality UAT support for a delightful customer experience
  • Support the marketing team to articulate key messages in brochures and marketing efforts
  • Conduct market research and comparisons to ensure competitive plans
  • Engage partners to secure buy-in for our products
  • Prepare proposition decks and present to management and partners
  • Conceptualize and support product-related campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Provide secretarial support during product meetings
  • Support trainers and BDMs on product queries
Requirements:
  • Degree holder with 4-8 years of experience in life insurance companies
  • Experience in product teams is essential
  • Strong knowledge of the life insurance industry
  • Excellent command of English
  • Project management experience is an added advantage
