Marine Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Marine Operations Specialist to assist in monitoring vessel operations and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior superintendents in conducting audits and inspections of vessels, maintaining operational documentation and records, and participating in crew training programs and safety meetings.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support maintenance schedules and operational planning, contribute to the preparation of reports on vessel performance, incidents, and maintenance activities, and engage in problem-solving discussions.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the maritime industry, preferably in a supervisory or administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of marine operations and safety regulations, excellent analytical and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, a proactive attitude, and willingness to learn and travel for vessel inspections and audits.
