As a Marine Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the technical department in daily operations and projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining repair databases, compiling technical specifications, and assisting in drafting and preparing technical reports.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and have experience working in a similar capacity. You will be responsible for coordinating with vessels and Technical Managers regarding the supply of spares, stores, and other related requirements.

You will also be required to ensure that technical drawings, manuals, plans, reports, certificates, and other documents are accurate, up to date, and systematically filed in the database.

Additionally, you will provide assistance on ad hoc projects as assigned and work closely with the technical team to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Marine Engineering or a related discipline (maritime or engineering backgrounds preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the oil trading industry in a similar capacity.
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, and professional in approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
