Project Manager for Data Center Construction

This is a pivotal role in spearheading the execution and delivery of data center construction projects, with a specialization in Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on-site operations and manage subcontractors and vendors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Project Planning & Scope Definition:
  • Develop detailed project plans, resource schedules, and budgets.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, and resource requirements.
Project Scheduling & Budgeting:
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and costs.
  • Monitor progress to ensure projects remain on track and within budget.
Coordination & Progress Monitoring:
  • Collaborate with senior project managers to ensure alignment with deadlines and milestones.
  • Track and report project progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
Subcontractor & Team Management:
  • Supervise subcontractors, supervisors, and site workers to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to resolve design, coordination, or execution challenges.
Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure strict compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain adherence to industry codes, legal requirements, and environmental guidelines.
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, senior management, and internal teams.
  • Highlight progress, risks, and mitigation strategies in a timely manner.
Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact timelines, costs, or quality.
  • Implement contingency plans as needed.
Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and system functionality.
  • Address any technical or quality issues immediately to prevent delays.
Safety Compliance & Risk Assessment:
  • Lead safety briefings and enforce adherence to site safety protocols.
  • Conduct routine safety assessments and implement corrective actions.
