Job Description

As a Senior Manager in Regional Project Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of green and/or brown field data center projects regionally. Your role will involve managing new data center project execution, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing phases.

You will lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that projects conform to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Additionally, you will develop project master programs, project charters, and set up project processes, as well as source suitable specialists and subject matter experts to be part of the project delivery team.

Another key responsibility is translating business requirements/ plans into executable project deliverables and preparing project budget capital funding, managing approved project capital funding cash flow, and spending within approved budgets.

You will also lead project tenders and administration processes, timely and accurately reporting project progress and expenditure to management.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to research new technologies that could apply to new data centers or enhance current ones, and knowledgeably navigate various M&E critical systems, including UPS, Generators, Chillers, Cooling Towers, and their testing and commissioning (FAT, SAT, IST).

Day-to-day construction oversight is crucial to ensure the project is carried out in compliance with EHS requirements in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Assisting in researching new technologies and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders are essential aspects of this role.

Finally, fostering a culture of quality assurance and improvement for the project and within the project team is vital.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in project management or construction management with proven track records in green and/or brown field data center projects.
  • Possess good leadership skills with great problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English with attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
