Job Title: Mall Operations Manager

As a key member of our retail mall team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our shopping centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Manager in managing effective operations and maintenance of the mall.
  • Coordinate operation programs and execute maintenance works to ensure the mall operates at optimal level.
  • Assist in annual budgeting, managing and administering all maintenance contracts and supervising expenses for operational needs.
  • Implement renovation works carried out by tenants and provide operational support for promotional activities.
  • Liaise with Contract & Procurement team, manage and execute specific/adhoc procurement of equipment cyclical replacement & enhancement works.
  • Manage and attend to all feedback and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Lead technicians and manage vendor services to achieve required professional standards in day-to-day operations.
  • Participate in Company Emergency Response Team (Incident Controller, First Aider etc)
  • Be part of Environmental Health Safety (EHS) team for review & approval of permit to work (PTWs), risk assessment, safety checks/audits.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate strong initiative, leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
  • Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).
  • Open to learning and potential lateral moves between asset classes based on business needs.
  • Capable of working within tight deadlines, resourceful and systematic in problem-solving.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Will to work beyond standard operating hours when necessary due to operational requirements.
