Business Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage technical operations, facilitate communication with stakeholders, and enhance business processes.

Key responsibilities include contributing to projects that improve processes, governance structures, and performance management systems. The successful candidate will analyze data to support decision-making, identify trends, and provide solutions to issues faced within projects.

  • Develop reports and presentations that communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations for executive audiences.
  • Execute on project components related to operations strategy development, assist with market research, and provide necessary reports for management's decisions.
  • Provide data analysis sales reports to the Operations Excellence Team to assist in sales strategies.

Additional responsibilities include being aware of store sales and KPI targets, as well as performance targets to accurately record, verify, and compile sales-related commission, incentives, and push monies. The successful candidate will also provide support in new stores opening and closing, new products launches, and events.

As a liaison, you will co-manage Brand Ambassadors, rostering consolidation, and sales data sharing to agencies, while maintaining positive relationships with external vendors and agencies. You will also identify improvement opportunities and communicate suggestions to management to drive operational and cost efficiency.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve business objectives.

  • Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 2-3 years of related business analyst experience from FMCG Retail/Travel Retail industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel (formula, pivot table, Power Pivot, data management), PowerPoint for presentation, and Power BI for data presentation.
