BCM & Emergency Preparedness Specialist

The WSG's Emergency Preparedness Unit is seeking a team member to support the planning and execution of Business Continuity Management (BCM) & Emergency Preparedness activities.

  • Responsibilities:

Our scope of work entails, but are not limited to:

  • Pre-activity design and preparatory work.
  • Engaging stakeholders across different business functions for coordination and training matters.
  • Conducting BCM activities.
  • Tracking and collating activity outcomes for reporting purposes.
  • Supporting EPU's data work and information collation tasks as needed.

In addition, the candidate will assist in reviewing and re-engineering existing BCM workflows and staff aids to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft productivity tools, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Able to produce clear, engaging digital visual content using suitable tools and online design platforms.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to perform gap analysis and translate them into improvements and tangible solutions.
  • Meticulous and collaborative, comfortable contributing both individually and as a team player.
  • Experience with BCM frameworks and processes would be an added advantage.
