Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing effective response strategies to various emergencies, such as pandemics and IT downtime. The incumbent will also dedicate 20% of their time to supporting Ministry of Health (MOH) Emergency Preparedness (EP) related projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Management of EP equipment, including budgeting, procurement, maintenance, and deployment.
  • Reviewing hospital emergency response plans and coordinating exercises and drills.
  • Planning for Integrated General Hospital (IGH) operations, including infrastructure requirements and procurement timelines.
  • Providing secretariat support to quarterly Business Continuity Management (BCM) Steering Committee meetings and supporting MOH EP related projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' work experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Healthcare operational experience is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to multi-task under tight timelines.
