About the Role
As a Strategic Business Development Director at American Express International Inc., you will lead the way in driving commercial growth and building strong relationships with merchants. With a focus on delivering business insights and transforming raw data into actionable recommendations, you will play a key role in shaping the company's strategy and direction.

Estimated Salary Range:$175,000 - $225,000 per annum, based on location and experience.

About You
You will have a strong background in business development and partner management, with a proven track record of success in building new and nurturing existing relationships. As a strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach, you will be able to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable recommendations that drive commercial outcomes. Your excellent communication skills and executive presence will enable you to effectively probe and diagnose merchant needs, proposing real-time customized solutions across all levels of the organization.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop data tools & insights for the GCG Client Management Group in APAC to support renegotiations, business reviews and business development opportunities defending our Premium Value Proposition in an impactful way
- Lead strategic partnerships with merchants in close collaboration with the Marketing team engaging existing & new partners to drive revenue growth through Amex Offers
- Build a pipeline of opportunities & deliver compelling Business Insights proposals to drive business growth
- Own end-to-end insights project planning, delivery, and measurement. Transform raw data into insights led commercial presentations to executives at merchant partners & internal stakeholders.
