Job Description

As the leader in Industrial Technology and Digital Transformation, we have growth goals. To support those goals, our Marketing function is transforming, and we're looking for a leader to focus on OEM strategy, marketing, and partner marketing.

As a Global OEM Strategy and Marketing Lead, you will play a critical role defining the future for OEM at Rockwell. To do this well, you'll:

  • Create and execute strategies, solution roadmaps, and plans that deliver winning solutions and accelerated sales and profit growth globally.
  • Grasp the big picture and chart a course, including delivering on immediate needs that incrementally build toward the big picture.
  • Work collaboratively to drive alignment.
  • Think outside of the box developing insights at the intersection of customer needs, industry trends, and technical capabilities.
  • Operate with integrity and trust sharing the truth in a helpful manner while being able to admit mistakes.

This role is based in any of our offices within EU and will report to the Director, Global Industry Strategy & Marketing.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and communicate a multi-year OEM technical, marketing, and sales strategy to senior leadership and track annual progress across sales, marketing, and business units.
  2. Ensure close alignment and buy-in with key stakeholders, including global sales, regional marketing, industry marketing, sales, and business unit leaders via working sessions and ongoing updates.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with Global Sales leaders and Industry Marketers to gain market and customer insights, develop strategies to exploit opportunities, and address competitive threats.
  4. Be regarded as the OEM expert, participating in associations to maintain the latest knowledge on innovative technologies and promoting us as an industry leader.
  5. Develop insights through competitive landscapes, identifying risk factors, and new technologies, initiate both qualitative (observational research, customer interviews, sales feedback, etc.) and quantitative (analytics, market research, surveys, etc.) research to deeply understand customer needs and communicate impact to both internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Build and nurture strong relationships with key OEM partners, understanding their unique requirements, and helping to position our products and services effectively.
  7. Work closely with the product development team to ensure our offerings align with OEM partner needs and help define product positionings.
  8. Develop and execute global marketing campaigns addressing customer needs and integrating new offerings. Make ongoing adjustments to optimize marketing performance in every region.
  9. Develop business cases and conduct return-on-investment financial analysis to justify and prioritize strategic options.
  10. Create and validate value propositions for our OEM overall business and targeted subsegments, presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
  11. Develop robust KPIs to track and report success of the OEM marketing plan.
  12. Effectively balance workloads across both strategic and marketing objectives.
  13. Make recommendations and influence the organization to optimize solutions to develop competitive global and regional offerings, taking into account regional customer, pricing, supply chain, and regulatory dynamics.
  14. Build a culture of strong engagement and accountability with direct and indirect teams.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Experience in the OEM space for the industrial automation market.
  • 10+ years of strategy and marketing experience leading cross-regional and functional teams across global matrix organizations.
  • Experience building cohesive and collaborative teams. Outstanding coach, mentor, and developer.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in EMEA - we will not support relocation or sponsorship.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • MBA
  • Experience selling to OEMs.
  • Early career experience in a top-tier management consulting.
