Learning and Development Professional

The role of a specialist or senior specialist involves providing comprehensive support to children with learning difficulties/disabilities. The candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing intervention programmes, assessing developmental needs, and crafting Individual Educational Programmes (IEPs) to address the needs of the children in their assigned classes.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and teach English and Math to children aged 5-12 with learning difficulties/disabilities.
- Conduct individual and group intervention programmes/activities for children with special needs, and engage parents in executing intervention and development strategies for the children.
- Assess the developmental needs of children and create IEPs and Progress Reports (PRs) to address the needs of the children in their assigned classes.
- A minimum Diploma in Early Childhood/Pre-School Teaching/Early Years/Special Education/Learning Disorders Management or any other related field.
- Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) is preferred.
- Experience in specialised intervention methods with children is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
The primary location for Specialists is Tampines, while Senior Specialists have flexible work locations across Woodlands, Tampines or Toa Payoh. However, there may be a need to visit different centres as per role requirements.
