About the Role

This key position within the Institutional business will cover customers from the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with Financial Sponsors, good knowledge of banking products, and the ability to identify and originate new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Maximise business profitability from customers in the Financial Sponsors segment, a growth area within FIG.
  • Contribute to the Institutional business through the execution of the FIG Singapore strategy.
  • Grow portfolio profitability through business development, relationship management, deal origination and execution.
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships with key stakeholders including product partners, FIG team counterparts around the globe as the segment continues to deliver an efficient global account coverage program, as well as Credit partners.
  • Run a well-managed portfolio including ensuring no overdue credit files, passing all internal audit requirements, and ensuring timely and effective KYC is completed.
Requirements
  • Experience working in banking specifically with Financial Sponsors.
  • Good understanding of Financial Sponsors' profiles, including their financial behaviours, challenges and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated track record of business development, deal origination and execution with Financial Sponsors.
  • Strong financial product knowledge, particularly advantageous to have demonstrated ability to provide Transaction Banking and Global Markets solutions to Financial Sponsors.
  • Proven experience in coverage with an emphasis on the overall customer experience and engagement.
  • Demonstrated competence in global account management and internal well managed processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with customers at a senior level.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Tertiary / post graduate qualification Business Management or Finance is preferred.
