About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our APAC region's talent acquisition strategy and operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition, you will play a crucial role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent in support of Seagate's strategic goals and growth objectives in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overall Talent Acquisition strategy for APAC aligned with Seagate's global talent strategy and business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Talent Acquisition professionals across multiple countries, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with Seagate's values and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with APAC HR leadership and business stakeholders and the Global Talent Acquisition leader to understand workforce needs and develop proactive talent pipelines.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment processes, candidate experience, and employer branding efforts across APAC markets.
  • Utilize data analytics and metrics to track key recruitment metrics and provide insights for decision-making and strategy refinement.
About You
  • You will have a proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies in a global or regional context, preferably within the technology manufacturing sector.
  • You will possess strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • You will be a strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 10 to 15+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing APAC or regional teams.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies in a global or regional context, preferably within the technology manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
