Job Title: Assistant ID Quantity Surveyor

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in tender projects to support our growth.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.

Job Duties:

  1. Prepare, review, and manage tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
  2. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and pricing for tender projects.
  3. Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
  4. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and evaluate bids.
  5. Collaborate closely with the project and design teams to align cost plans with project requirements.
  6. Prepare bills of quantities, cost breakdowns, and tender clarifications.
  7. Participate in tender interviews, negotiations, and presentations as required.
  8. Monitor industry trends, material prices, and market conditions to ensure competitive tendering.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong track record in tender preparation and submission.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, cost estimation software, and measurement tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
